We got this idea from this website. The prop is powered by a windshield wiper motor, and the skeletons are poseable skeletons from Wal-mart. Propmaster made a see saw about the same time as we made ours. His can be found here.

We made a quick and easy frame out of PVC. With a smaller diameter PVC pipe attached to the bottom of the board, so it can pivot easily. The motor we mounted to a board so we could move it around and adjust to where we needed it to be. One problem we ran into was the motor would push the whole frame off to the left side, making the posts shift. So I threw in a piece of rebar and zip tied the right post in this picture to it. This helped keep it in place.

The lever arm we did the same way as Propmaster. In his words, "I drilled a hole in a section of PVC and with a hammer popped it onto the ball on the wiper".

To attach the smaller diameter PVC to the plank, I found some little copper U joints made for securing pipes. I was able to simply screw them to the board, with the PVC under them.

And the finished product. If we get some time we still want to add some handles for the skeletons to hold onto.
