| This was a cool, relatively simple little project we used for our 2004 haunt. The organist moves side to side, using a motor stolen from a animated turtle from Biglots. We used him outside our haunt, with a little Bach playing, to get people's attention. The skeleton is one of those poseable skeletons you get at Wal-mart.

This
gives you a view of the motor we used to move the organist. This is
what's left of the turtle. We attached a long rod to the moving tail
of the turtle, and then ran that up the spine of the skeleton, so he
moves side to side with the tail. Pretty simple, but it looks cool! |
This is a shot of the organist during it's 'garage' stage, before the haunt. For the organ, we got an old roll top desk from Deseret Industries. The pipes are made from pool noodles spray painted gold. We added the keyboard later, which was just foam board, painted. |
