Our first home and first attempt at our own yard display. Best way to view it is through the video. But here's some pics. Since many of the props are similar to hallowbean's, I won't repeat the how-to's.

Overview of the whole yard as we were setting up. Upper right window we had our Flying Crank Ghost. Lower right window a floating candelabra, lower left window, dancing skeletons. Then we also had a witch with an animated stirring cauldron, and the scarecrow scene in the center of the yard. Not to mention all the other 'filler' props around the yard.

Night shot of the yard.

One of our main props was this scene. We have a faux flame, with a couple of skeletons roasting marshmellows, with our scarecrow leering over their heads.

A day shot of the scene. The flame is a box fan, with strips of silky material. The scarecrow is made from PVC, strips of cloth and the head was purchased from Smith's Markteplace. I drilled out the eyes, and put flicker bulbs in the sockets.

The witch's cauldron stirs itself, similar to the one in Hallowbean's yard. Here's a how-to for my stirring cauldron.

Our Floating Candelabra was difficult to get a good picture of. But it looked really cool floating around in the window. We used an FCG mechanism to make it float.

Our version of the Flying Crank Ghost. Doesn't look like I have a night video, but the main video at the top of this page shows it at night.

A pumpkin lamp post. We got a couple cheap jack-o-lanterns and put them on top of blowmold Christmas Candles. Simple, but cool little addition to our yard.
