| Utah County has some of the greatest concentration of ice in the state. Provo Canyon in particular has many ice climbs of different grades for people of different skill levels. Provo Canyon is where many of us have learned to climb ice and honed our skills. Other than Provo, there's other canyons with great ice as well. Santaquin is an excellent place to climb and usually is not as crowded as other climbing areas in Utah. |

Our secret ice playground. We just
found this ice climbing area last season. It's almost untouched by the
crowds of Utah climbing. I'm not sure how it's secret has been kept,
but we're enjoying it! |
