Horsethief Cave

At 8+ miles, Horsethief Cave is definitely a long one!! It used to connect to Bighorn Cavern by a crawl, but that has been plugged up. Very cool cave! More information can be found at www.wyomingcaves.com. |

Don't worry, finger is only for scale. In the Great Fissure, there was
a lot of very thin and delicate gypsum hairs along the wall. Care must be taken so you don't damage
them. |

We weren't sure if we could fit through "Denise's Crawl", so we headed back
to the cave gate. |
