Bighorn Cavern, 2003

Going in Bighorn Cavern is a yearly tradition, so I don't plan on adding a new page for it every year. But I figured we needed some recent pictures on here from this year.

Neil at the entrance to Bighorn Cavern. To keep people out, they've placed this large cage over the pit. Once you have the key, and get your ropes rigged, it's a 90 foot rappel to the bottom.

Becky rappelling into the cave. It starts pretty wide, then narrows down a bit about half way down.

Neil coming out of a crawl space, not far from the entrance.

With over 8 miles of tunnels to explore, there always seems to be new things to discover. We found some small stalagtites, and soda straws.

There are a lot of cool crystals in the cave.
