Eardley Canyon

This is a canyon I've wanted to do for some time. It's relatively close, it has multiple rappels and it has a lot of swimming. Or that's at least what I thought. The night before we went into the canyon there was a good storm, so we thought the canyon would be full and wet. Instead it was very dry. There were still some potholes with water, but over all, it was almost completely dry. We still enjoyed it very much though. Shane put a short video from our trip here. I didn't get any pictures my self, so these are from Shane and John's pictures.

Straight Wash, at the start of our hike.

We stop at the exit of the canyon on the way up to take a peek.

Shane, Neil and I downclimbing a gully into the canyon.

Ahhhh...finally some water!

A view from the last rap, of the last pool.

Some petroglyphs we checked out on the way back to the trailhead.
