Bighorn Canyon

Bighorn Canyon is an impressive canyon that stretches 55 miles through towering canyon walls. To explore the canyon, you have to have a boat, and since the water is so low right now, we took a canoe through a 20 mile section of the canyon. We started at Horseshoe Bend in Wyoming and ended at Barry's Landing in Montana. It's a beautiful canyon with huge walls with caves, grotto's, arches and slot canyons. A very awesome trip! We didn't get a whole lot of pictures because most the trip was raining and windy. But when there were breaks in the weather, I was able to get a few pics.

A little welcomed sunshine in the canyon.

Paddlin' like a mad man.

More canyon shots.

Some interesting arches forming in the sides of the walls.

Near the end of our canoe trip as we approach Barry's Landing.

Nearing the end of the trip.
